No, my opinion is that their place is in a. However a smart opponent will just shoot them, and given how flimsy they are, he is likely to succeed and given that they are the most expensive option (20 pts/model) that would be sad. Their range is reduced but they could be more effective against CC armies due to the Overwatch they can deliver. Alternatively, you could go with the Witchseekers to fill that role. I think it's nice to consider given their relative cheap cost and the uses we could have from that. They also have a nice rule allowing them to target Psykers like snipers do, meaning they can't hide from your bolters. If you intend on using them purely as an escort, I believe the Prosecutors are the best option given their cheap cost (12 pts/model) and the best range of their weapon choice. Their role as bubble-wrap means they need to be able to still be useful at their role by using the adequate weapon. I agree, that requires some moves and I'm not sure if it's useful, but it's usable. The nullifiying aura is a bonus, and as it affects Deny the Witch tests too, you could, by some smooth manoeuvring, hit another Psyker with one of your own Psykers from outside the bubble range.

Basically, you can prevent Smite from hitting your units, as long as your Sisters are the closest unit to the Psyker, which helps greatly in bubble-wrapping a valuable unit against a Psyker-heavy list. So I'd like to talk about their use with their different loadouts.įirst of all, why using them ? I think their strongest point is their rule that forbids them from being targeted by a Psychic power. The -1 to all Psykers cumulates with each Sisters squad you have in range of the bubble to a total of -4, which is damn fine but it will be very specific situations where you'll have 4 squads in range of a single Psyker, and if your opponent allowed that to happen he deserves to be nullified to death. The Psychic Abomination rule has been nerfed in the way it doesn't totally negate Psychic powers any more, but the Psychic phase was nerfed along so no big deal, and the range is 18" no matter how many squads you have, which is nice. Now I'd like to keep using them but I'm just genuinely wondering if the Vigilators are good, haven't playtested them yet. They had a handful of games where I liked them (but never met a lot of Psykers ironically) but then 8th Ed came. Hi all, back in the previous edition I had bought 10 Vigilators Sisters of Silence from a guy at my store, to have a anti-psyker stuff in my AdMech.
